<!--
SITEMAP INDEX — the single entry point to MyOwnEvents' crawl surface.
  OpenSpec change `public-events-in-sitemap`.

robots.txt advertises exactly ONE `Sitemap:` directive, and it points here. Two
directives is legal but splits the entry point and makes "which list is stale"
a question somebody has to ask.

  CHILDREN
sitemap-marketing.xml — STATIC. The marketing, feature and legal routes. Also
the route list that client/scripts/prerender-marketing.mjs renders to static
HTML at build time. Edit that file to add a marketing route.
sitemap-events.xml — GENERATED AT REQUEST TIME by public/sitemap-events.php
(via an .htaccess rewrite). Lists public event pages at /e/:id. It is not a
file in this directory and there is nothing here to edit.

⚠️ A URL may appear in a sitemap ONLY if a SIGNED-OUT visitor can open it.
Sitemap membership is a consequence of a surface being public, never a
separate decision. The events child enforces this with the same eligibility
gate the application itself applies (get_public_events_feed.base_public).
