Invite Anyone — No Account Needed

Invite friends by email or text — they RSVP without signing up.

What it is

Real-life events include people who aren’t on the app yet — and making everyone sign up just to say “yes” is how plans fall apart. MyOwnEvents lets you invite anyone by email — or text them their invite link straight from your own phone — and they respond right from the link.

Their answer flows straight back into your guest list and counts toward your capacity, so your headcount stays accurate whether your guests are on MyOwnEvents or not.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add their email or phone

Invite guests by email right alongside your MyOwnEvents friends — no extra steps.

  2. 2

    They get a friendly link

An email (or a text you send from your own phone) with the event details and one-tap Going / Maybe / Can’t-go buttons.

  3. 3

    They RSVP with no sign-up

One tap records their response — no password, no download — and your guest list and headcount update automatically.

Your privacy, protected

  • Each RSVP link is securely signed and tied to that one invitation — it can’t be used to see anyone else’s information or to respond on someone else’s behalf.
  • Guests only ever see the event you invited them to — never your other events, your friends, or your calendar.
  • Free events allow no-account RSVPs; paid/ticketed events ask guests to create an account at checkout so their tickets are secured to them.

Nobody ever sees your calendar — only whether you’re free or busy

Across every MyOwnEvents feature, your event titles, your guests, and your locations stay private. When we help you and your friends find a time, others see only whether you are free or busy — never the event details behind it. Your raw calendar events are never sold, never used for ads, and never sent to AI. Our scheduling assistant uses only the overall picture (like how many invitees are free at a given time) to suggest times — and that is never used to train AI models.
